Ranjit's Svaasa is an eco friendly spa resort of Welcome Heritage
affiliation hosted in a more than 250 years old mansion. A red brick
building belonging to Rai Bahadur Rai Chand Mehra in the Raj era served as
a guest house and was renovated a few years back by the family and
converted into a boutique resort. The resort having only 12 rooms is
devoid of television waves and smells of lemon grass, iced tea and lot of
Ayurvedic herbs. 'Svaasa' in fact means breath of life and can really
offer a home of wellness with refreshing ayurvedic massages and treatments
sure to take away all your city blues. Each room is different with a
painting here, a curved glass there, beds with high posts, empanelled
dining room, central lawns with mango and jamun trees and so forth gives
the Svaasa a rustic look and so different from all that is available at
Amritsar for accommodation.
