Spread over 5 acres the Pugmark, Ranthambore is located near the forest reserve in a quiet corner away from the main road. A beautifully done artificial cave complete with rock formations, small plantations and running water greet you as one enters the resort. Another entrance is more conventional and modern looking and via the reception which is bright, lively and colourful. Along the reception one has the TV lounge (there are no TVs in the room, nor room service), the restaurant and the conference hall. Both entrances lead to a well manicured and lush green garden area with imaginative landscaping, cris-crossed by waterfalls and water streams. The way to the residential block is flanked by the swimming pool on one side and the amphitheater on the other. The rooms follow the jungle theme at Pugmark resorts, Ranthambhore with all of them on the ground floor only. The rooms are slightly short on space but very well furnished with a mini bar and attached toilet. To give a real jungle experience there is no TV in the room and no room service either. All the meals are served in the restaurant itself. The conference room can also serve as a banquet hall for evening party, a discotheque, a get together etc. One can also hold an evening cocktail dinner in the beautiful lawns along side a bon fire. The resort arranges for pick up and drop from the station and jungle safari in Ranthambhore forest reserve in jeep or canter. USP Wonderful location and great ambience.
