have become tired of going to the usual destinations of Jaipur, Shimla,
Mussoorie & Nainital and are looking for something new and exciting for
their next holiday. Especially during the holiday season of MAY-JUNE, the
regular hill stations become so crowded that it becomes a pain just to park your
car. So one is not able to really appreciate the beauty of these place. So the
following destinations are cool, off beat and not so crowded even during peak
summers cause the accommodation options at these place are limited. So go for
these places if you don't want to go the MALL stations, but our advice is to
prebook and go to avoid disappointment.
Hills
Binsar
Giving beautiful views of the snow capped peaks, this is a wonderful hill
destination away form the crowds. Binsar is 350 k from Delhi. Stay at the modern
Kassar Jungle Resort or the heritage Mountain Resort,Khali.
Kausani
Situated in Uttaranchal about 370 k from Delhi, Kausani provides the
calmness and relaxation befitting an old time hill station.
Surya
Vilas,Solan, A destination in itself, this beautiful resort boast of a
quiet location, lovely rooms, a swimming pool, a spa and great food to boot.
Ramgarh Situated
about 320 k from Delhi near Nainital, the place is totally surrounded with fruit
orchards and is much cooler than Nainital.
Kanatal
Situated on the Mussoorie-Chamba road it is 310 km from Delhi and very
beautiful with wonderful accommodation at Terraces.
Naukuchiatal, the nine cornered lake near Nainital makes for a
