SARISKA PALACE |
Sariska Palace Built in 1892 by Maharaja Jai Singh of Alwar this imposing palace served as a hunting lodge for the maharajas for the years to come. The Palace was designed by a French Architect under the Maharaja's patronage to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria's son, the Duke of Connaught.
Sariska, near Alwar can be easily reached in 4 hours from Delhi and 3 hours drive from Gurgaon.
Sariska Palace has now been converted into a heritage hotel with all the modern amenities like swimming pool, huge lawns to relax etc. Sariska Palace retains all it's regal charm and ambience to remind one of the times of Maharajas and the Raj. The Palace is built in a total of 100 acres and has a total of 85 rooms . Steeped in the local Rajasthani culture and heritage the palace at Sariska makes for a perfect weekend getaway for Delhites and is great hit with westerners too. The Sariska Palace is quiet close to the Sariska Wild Life Sanctuary. Also ideal for group outings, Conferences and other Corporate outings.
